ABOUT THE COALITION

What We Do:
• Encourage and support organizations and institutions to switch to Fair Trade products.
• Support local businesses that sell Fair Trade products by doing Fair Trade tablings at their cafes and stores.
• Host public events to raise awareness of Fair Trade products.

What You Can Do:
• Join us! We have a General Meeting once a month. Email us at fairtradenyc@gmail.com to get more information.
• Buy Fair Trade Products. See the list of where to buy Fair Trade products in New York City.
• Make the Switch. Get your office/congregation/community group to switch to Fair Trade.
• Ask for Fair Trade wherever you shop!

Who We Are:
The New York City Fair Trade Coalition includes Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, United Food and Commercial Workers (Local 1500) , Sierra Club (New York City Group), Park Slope Food Coop, Inc., American Jewish World Service, United Students for Fair Trade, NYCISPES, NYC People’s Referendum on Free Trade, St. Andrews the Apostle Church in Brooklyn, Fair Trade Resource Network, Global Goods Partners, Interrupcion*. We are dedicated to raising public awareness and increasing visibility and availability of Fair Trade products.
